Media Literacy

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

​Media Literacy teaches students how to consume mass media with a critical eye and discover the history of American media—books, newspapers, magazines, movies, radio, television, cable, and the Internet—through engaging class discussions, examination of primary documents, and practical applications of ethical journalism techniques. Students will participate in creating an online newspaper, podcasts, and other Internet-based media projects.
