COURSE TITLE: Digital Photography 1 

PREREQUISITES: Grade 10, 11 or 12

LENGTH: 1 Trimester

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This is an introductory course to digital photography.  The course goal if Digital Photography 1 is to teach students care and handling of a digital SLR camera, principles of lighting and composition, photojournalism, digital darkroom techniques and presentation.  Students will also be presented with an overview of the history of photography as well as careers in photography.  Students will use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop throughout the class.
