COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In AP European History, students investigate significant events, individuals, developments and processes from approximately 1450 to the present. Topics in modern European History from the mid-15th century through the 21st century include the renaissance and age of exploration, the reformation, absolutism and constitutionalism, revolutions and reactions, industrialization and its effects, global conflicts of the 20th century and the cold war. Upon completion of the course, students may take the AP European History exam in May.
