PREREQUISITES: Biology. Chemistry recommended. It is recommended that you take both A & B courses sequentially, but not required.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This elective course is an in-depth study of human form and function. It is designed for students with an interest in the medical field and arranged to give a competitive edge for schooling after high school in all of the medical fields including nursing, veterinary medicine and various therapies. Anatomy and Physiology A focuses on anatomical terminology, cells and tissues, skin and integumentary system, skeletal, muscular and digestive systems. Anatomy and Physiology B focuses on nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary and reproductive systems and includes a detailed dissection of a cat.
